SECTIONS & ROUNDTABLES

A section is formed to promote library service and librarianship within and for a particular type of library or as it relates to a particular type of library activity. It may be created by the Executive Board at the written request of 25 individual members of the Association engaged in the work of the proposed section. The request shall state clearly the purpose of the proposed section.

A round table is a forum to identify, discuss, and promote action on issues not addressed by sections or committees of the Association. It may be created by the Executive Board at the written request of 10 individual members. The request shall state clearly the purpose of the proposed roundtable.
