YOUNG ADULT SERVICES

The Young Adult Services Section strives to prepare and present current, quality programming pertaining to service to teens at the NJLA Annual Conference, the Educational Media Association of New Jersey Annual Conference and at the annual Youth Services Forum. The section’s primary goal, however, is to read and evaluate YA books for inclusion on the Garden State Teen Book Awards ballot, to prepare and distribute the ballot, gather and tally votes cast by New Jersey students, and honor the winners at the Garden State Luncheon in April.

The section meets six times per year at the Old Bridge Library.
