NJLA Commons: Virtual Keynote Emily Clasper

Join NJLA and your colleagues as we continue our series of virtual keynotes, with some of the most well-known names in our profession. As an exclusive member benefit, participation is completely free! On Friday, April 29, NJLA Commons will feature New York based  librarian, speaker, trainer and project manager Emily Clasper.

NJLA members will have the exciting opportunity to join in conversation with Emily this month as she talks about the basic principles of Project Management as applied within a library environment. She will use real-life scenarios to illustrate ways these strategies can help increase efficiency, reduce risk, and encourage progress towards strategic goals.

Emily has been working for the Suffolk Cooperative Library System since 2005, helping to provide cooperative services to the 56 public libraries in Suffolk County, NY. As System Training and Operations Manager, Emily manages an ILS shared by 49 of the member libraries and is particularly responsible for maintaining an ongoing training program for library staff across the county. She is an all-around troublemaker who spends her free time keeping her equally mischievous children (Robert, 10 and Claire, 7) from burning the house down.

Registration is FREE for all NJLA Members. Space is limited, so please register now to secure your spot.
