2017 Public Policy Institute

Hear the latest on what's happening in New Jersey's libraries--like the statewide ballot referendum impacting both New Jersey libraries and the state economy!

Join the NJLA Public Policy and Intellectual Freedom Committees to learn more about advocating for the New Jersey Library Construction Act referendum, a roll-out of marketing materials for the publicity campaign, and an update on Public Policy's and Intellectual Freedom's legislative priorities for the year.

Guest speaker Don DiFrancesco, former New Jersey Governor, will be sharing his advice on advocating for the compelling issues that affect New Jersey libraries. He will be joined by Karen Hartshorn Hilton, South Orange Village Trustee and Management Consultant for Growth For Good LLC, as well as former & Founding Executive Director at Emerge New Jersey and former Board President of the South Orange Public Library.

Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
