As a Children’s & Teen Services Librarian at the Cape May County Library, you would:
• Share your excitement for and vast knowledge of children’s and teen literature and media
• Plan and present story times, events and clubs for children, tweens & teens
• Share the library’s collections, events, and services with students and teachers in fun and creative ways
• Collaborate with community institutions and organizations that support youth

Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates will have an ALA accredited MLS (making you eligible for a NJ Professional Librarian Certificate)
Must live in or relocate to Cape May County upon hire.
Must have experience working with children and teens.
Must have a current valid driver’s license with no points or major violations in the past 5 years or minor violations in the past 3 years. Must be able and willing to drive a library vehicle.
Evenings and Saturday are worked as needed and schedule flexibility is a must.

Benefits: Starting salary: $41,500 35 hours a week. Health benefits include medical, dental, prescription, & vision NJ pension 12 vacation days per year (increases with years worked), 15 sick days per year, 3 personal days per year
