Journalism Award

DESCRIPTION: NJLA recognizes the power of the press and media. These awards are given annually in recognition of exceptional journalistic coverage of libraries and library issues.

CRITERIA: Submissions may be editorials, op-ed pieces, articles or series of articles, television, radio, and online stories and multimedia coverage.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • Each entry should be identified by the source, reporter, date, location from the issue in which it was published.
  • If the piece is available online, the submission should include a working URL.
  • Video or audio submissions should be mailed separately in CD/DVD format.
  • A brief letter in support of the nomination must also be uploaded.

Use the online submission form to upload the piece to be considered and a one-page statement in support of your nomination.
