Manager of Adult Services Programming and Collaborations - Somerset County Library System

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading teams to integrate strategies and work plans across public services, marketing and public relations, civic services, and special projects and strategic initiatives. The ASPC manager will provide organizational vision, coordinate and lead all efforts to build and grow adult services programming, as well as possess the ability to set strategy and help the team members implement processes into local branch operations. This includes recommending policies and procedures pertaining to programming, monitoring the quality and effectiveness of existing services for adult programs, as well as guiding staff to make improvements as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Library Science, Education, or related field; five years of full-time progressively responsible professional experience which includes demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills and three years experience supervising professional and support staff and budget oversight or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities; reliable transportation to attend training, meetings, or other assigned duties at other branches or off-site locations as required.
