You may or may not consider yourself a “leader,” but regardless of your position or title, you can (and do) exert influence through your words, actions, and quality of being. Research suggests a strong correlation between emotional intelligence and the ability to exert positive influence in your world. In this webinar we will discuss practical ways to increase influence quotient, your other IQ.

Peter Bromberg is the (soon-to-be) Associate Director of Public Services for the Salt Lake County Library System. He has been working in libraries for over 20 years including 16 years in New Jersey. Peter was dubbed "The Transformer" by Library Journal when they named him a 2008 Mover and Shaker. He has been involved with leadership initiatives on state and national levels, including co-facilitating ALA’s Emerging Leaders program, and more recently co-designing and delivering an intensive experiential leadership institute for the Oklahoma Library Association that was structured around the principles of emotional intelligence.
