Statement by the New Jersey Library Association on the Disruption of Statewide Delivery Services

The New Jersey Library Association recognizes the frustration of New Jersey residents resulting from disruption in statewide delivery service, which has negatively impacted the State’s interlibrary loan system. For over 40 years, NJ libraries have relied on this system to share
millions of library materials.  We appreciate your patience as the library community works toward a sustainable solution, the first step being the search for a new delivery vendor. The New Jersey Library Association understands how much the public depends on high-quality
library service and will work to ensure the library community has the tools and resources it needs to meet and exceed public expectations.
