Join a Section

Anyone can join a section.

• Visit Community Sites under the Member menu.
• On the member site, go to Communities -> All Communities to join a section.

Join a Committee

Once a year the Committee Choice form is open to current members to solicit committee volunteers. The form will open in the spring. An email notification will be sent to members when the form is available.

Committee vs Section

Committees are appointed by the board and fulfill a vital role to NJLA's ongoing success, fulfilling the work of the organization. 

Sections are member organized groups formed around common work or interests. While membership commitment varies greatly, section leaders are the ones that keep the section moving forward.
