"A New Chapter – Imagine the Possibilities"

February 18-20, 2026 - Hard Rock Hotel Atlantic City

This event will bring together New Jersey librarians to explore new ideas, share innovations, and shape the future of libraries—together.

NJLA and NJASL are excited to announce a logo design contest for the inaugural joint conference in February 2026! We invite current members of NJLA and NJASL to help us visually capture the spirit of this historic event.

Contest Guidelines

• Theme: Submissions should reflect the conference theme, "A New Chapter – Imagine the Possibilities", and the collaborative nature of NJLA and NJASL.

• Deadline: April 11, 2025

• Eligibility: Open to current members of NJLA and NJASL

• Specs:

  • Must be an original design

  • Include both NJLA and NJASL names or visual representation

  • Scalable (usable on web, print, merchandise)

  • Acceptable formats: jpg, jpeg, png and gif

  • Limit to 3 colors (optional, but helps with versatility)

Winner Receives:

• Recognition on both organizations' websites, social media, and printed materials

• Free registration to the 2026 conference 

• Featured spotlight in the conference program and newsletters

Judging Criteria:

• Creativity and originality

• Relevance to the theme

• Visual impact and versatility

• Professionalism and clarity

A panel of NJLA and NJASL representatives will select the winning design.

Key Dates:

• Contest Opens: March 25, 2005

• Submission Deadline: April 11, 2025

• Winner Announced: at the NJLA Conference, May 28-30, 2025
