NJLA Internship Program
The NJLA Internship Program offers graduate students enrolled in a Library & Information Science program the opportunity to become active in the New Jersey Library Association—the oldest library-focused professional association in the state.
Each successful applicant will be appointed as an intern to a single committee or section for a term of the current NJLA year (ends June 30).
Interns will have the opportunity to attend meetings virtually; to network with peers and library leaders from around the state; and to participate in service learning.
Requirements for participation are:
- Enrollment in a Library & Information Science graduate program (or related program)
- Membership in NJLA
- No previous NJLA committee appointments
Interns are also required to attend three (3) meetings, 2 virtual and 1 hybrid, with their Intern cohort throughout the year beginning with an Internship Orientation session in January.
Please visit NJLA's Groups page for information about each committee and section.
Deadline: TBD. Limited openings available.
