Leave a Legacy |
Leave a LegacyBy contributing to the DAG BULMAN NJLA LEGACY SOCIETY, your donation will benefit future NJLA leaders, support our long-term initiatives, and ensure a strong financial outlook. There are several giving options that can be easily added to your estate planning process.
NJLA’s legal name is New Jersey Library Association. It is important that you and/or your attorney have our tax-exempt number for your records. That number is 22-1845019. NJLA is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization. This donation is tax-deductible to the extent provided by the law. As a general rule, we strongly urge prospective donors to consult with their attorney, financial advisor, estate planning professional, accountant or other appropriate professional. It would be helpful for the NJLA office to have a copy of your giving plan once it is finalized. Please email your documents to [email protected]. This information would naturally be kept in confidence and may be updated at any time. Learned T. (Dag) Bulman (1923-2020) was a life-long member of NJLA and served as its president from 1974-1975. He worked at the East Orange Public Library, the Morris County College Learning Resource Center and the Morris County Historical Society. He was dedicated to NJLA. Dag was keenly aware of the importance of a strong financial foundation for the Association and spent many years on the NJLA Investment committee wisely investing our funds. When Dag died in 2020, NJLA learned of the generous bequest he had provided to NJLA. In 2021 the NJLA Executive Board established the Learned T. (Dag) Bulman Legacy Society to recognize Dag and others who choose to remember NJLA in their wills. Benefactors who confirm their support by July 1, 2022 will be named “Founding Members” of the Dag Bulman NJLA Legacy Society. Founding Members of the Dag Bulman NJLA Legacy Society
